Dan Van Slambrook serves as ASE’s Director of Staffing.  His team provides temporary and direct-hire recruitment services in Human Resources and other professional skill areas.  Dan is passionate about helping organizations meet their business objectives through identifying and delivering strong talent.   

Starting his career as an employee selection consultant for what is now Aon Hewitt, Dan has over 25 years of full lifecycle recruitment, staffing leadership, corporate talent acquisition, and HR management experience across a broad spectrum of industries.  Initially trained as a technical recruiter in the automotive sector, Dan has filled a wide variety of positions, including engineering, information technology, human resources, program/project management, finance, sales, supply chain, quality, and manufacturing operations.

Dan earned a M.S. in Human Resources Administration from Central Michigan University and a B.A. in English/pre-law from Michigan State University.  He holds several certifications, including the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), Technical Staffing Professional (TSC), and Certified Staffing Professional (CSP).  Dan also served for six years in the Army National Guard.
